The Center for Literature, Medicine, and Biomedical Humanities
The Center for Literature, Medicine, and Biomedical Humanities provides interdisciplinary programs, courses, and summer seminars integrating humanities and health care. Through the study of the humanities, and in particular, through literary works, the Center examines critical health care issues. This work has application in clinical settings, academic medicine, health policy, and the liberal arts environment, and serves to deepen participant's ability to recognize, understand, and address ethical and humanistic issues in health care contexts.

Florida State University Dept of Philosophy
The Department of Philosophy at Florida State University, with its wide assortment of courses and variety of scholarly activities, provides a thorough and rigorous graduate training in philosophy. In addition, teaching assistantships available for graduate students provide valuable experience to assist their passage into the professional community.

Fremont Health
Located in Fremont, Nebraska, the Medical Center is the only hospital within the county and is adjacent to several medical office buildings and support services. It is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Dodge County Board of Supervisors. While county owned, the Medical Center provides services through its own operations and finances, using no county or taxpayer funds.
